BASIL HEMPSEED PESTO

The spaghetti shown on the left is raw zucchini made with a spiraler. I just love mine but you could use Spelt Spaghetti.
A raw fresh pesto is so wonderful and refreshing. I got my huge 3 pound bag of hempseeds and this recipe was on the back of the bag. I felt it was so wonderful I wanted to share it.
Ingredients
2 cups of basil leaves
1/2 cup of hemp seeds
2 tablespoons of hemp oil (you could use olive oil or grape seed oil here)
Dash of salt and pepper
1 green onion
1/4 cup of alkaline cheese (such as brazil nut) optional
Broth from spaghetti water
Garlic is not permitted on the Dr. Sebi Plan. So we have eliminated the garlic and instead added in some green onions.
Directions
Blend all the ingredients in a food processor and taste for seasonings. If you choose to use raw zucchini, then there will be no broth added. You can add in some spring water instead.
